Bon Voyage

Bon Voyage ?– L'ImpostureAfter the brilliant & critically acclaimed 2009 first record Impersonnel naviguant on Jamal Moss Mathematics imprint under Les Aeroplanes name, the mysterious french combo leaded by Adrien Durant rises from the ashes two years later under the Bon Voyage moniker. Sorciers des aéroports EP is followed by L’imposture, splendid 7 tracks album, both being released on british Stendec.
Their rich sonic landscape and evolved musical score are refreshingly different to most of todays computer generated music. Crossing genres as musicians, they carve out the sweetest melodies and allow the nectar to flow with an assortment of italian strings, american filters and japanese oscillators. It’s a curious but intriguing concoction, joining the dots between spaced out library disco, casio boogie and the weirder end of italo. If some might have heard the influences of Jean-Michel Jarre, Space, Air or Carpenter, it’s impossible not to think about the mastered virtuosity of Brian Bennett or Jean-Pierre Massiera. As a live-act, synths, euphoric basslines and
perfectly played battery, by talented Nicolas Ballay, fit together in the most balanced harmony giving stunning scenic performances. Fasten your seat-belts ladies and gents this exclusive mix of an healthful eclectism will take you far away in the milkyway.
