Le romain Max Durante débuta sa carrière musicale à la fin des 80’s et peut etre considéré comme l’un des rares pionniers de la scène electro-techno italienne aux cotés de Leo Anibaldi, Lory D, D’Arcangelo ou Marco Passarani.
Il a commencé a jouer peu après dans les plus grosses raves italiennes avant de gagner une audience internationale grâce à ses sets ultra techniques et bourrés d’énergie.
Mixant un mélange addictif d’electro et de miami-bass, il a ravi le public des meilleurs clubs européens tels que le Rex-club, Nouveau Casino, Fabric, Melkweg, Brancaleone ou Maria am ostbahnof, partageant les platines avec des poids lourds comme Laurent Garnier, Jeff Mills, Aphex Twin, DJ Hell, Speedy J, Dave Clarke, Justice ou Dmx Krew.
En tant que producteur, il a sorti des morceaux et des remixes sur les labels Plasmek, Truckstop 76th, Prodamkey (son propre label), Monotone ou encore Star Whores.
Néanmoins ses œuvres principales furent ses collaborations avec d’autres artistes prestigieux : D’Arcangelo sur le label Hot Trax, Anthony Rother sous le pseudo Netzwerk Europa sur Psi49net, Keith Tucker du crew electro culte de Detroit Aux88 en tant que Fuzion sur Electrix ou pour le retour en 2002 de la légende de l’italo-disco Alexander Robotnick et son album Oh no Robotnick.
Max Durante from Roma, started his musical career in the late 80’s and is one of the few italian electro-techno pioneers alongside Leo Anibaldi, Lory D, D’Arcangelo or Marco Passarani.
He began to perform in the best Italian RAVEs in early 90’s before gaining international recognition thanx to his highly technical energetic dj sets.
Spinning a powerful mixture of electro & miami bass he delighted the crowds in the best european venues : Rex-club, Nouveau Casino, Fabric, Melkweg, Brancaleone or Maria am ostbahnof, sharing the decks of heavyweight of the scene like Laurent Garnier, Jeff Mills, Aphex Twin, DJ Hell, Speedy J, Dave Clarke, DJ Hell, Justice or Dmx Krew to name just a few.
As a producer he released & remixed tracks on Plasmek, Truckstop 76th, Prodamkey (his own label), Monotone or Star Whore’s.
Nevertheless his most famous works have been collaborations with prestigious other artists; D’Arcangelo on Hot Trax, Anthony Rother under Netzwerk Europa on Psi49net, Keith Tucker, from cult Detroit pioneer crew Aux88, under Fuzion on Electrix or for italo legend Alexander Robotnick back to the scene 2002’s album Oh no Robotnick.
