Slobodan Brkic aka Dj Brka , du haut de ses vingt ans d’expérience de dj, est sans conteste un des acteurs majeurs de la scène électronique Serbe et même d’ex-Yougoslavie. Actuellement, il est le résident de la soirée “Disco not disco” sur la péniche 20/44 à Belgrade où il accueille régulièrement certains des meilleurs talents underground de la scène. Slobodan est un dj hors pair, inclassable et d’une érudition sans pareille; surfant entre club ( techno, house, disco ) et mélopées slo-mo ( cosmic, balearic, ou krautrock )… Son mix pour “Beats in Space” de Tim Sweeney mais surtout sa trilogie thématique “East side of cosmics” ont achevé de le rendre culte chez les aficionados avides d’éclectisme de haute volée. Son podcast exclusif pour nous “a rainy-winter mix”est le warm-up live de sa dernière soirée au 20/44.
Slobodan Brkic aka Dj Brka, is undoubtedly one of the leading figures in the electronic serbian scene, if not in whole ex-yugoslavia. He has been around for 20 years and runs the “Disco not disco” party in the boat 20/44, alongside Dj Schwabe, where he hosts some of the most preeminent underground talents of the scene. Slobodan is an uncategorizable top-notch dj with an outstanding music knowledge, able to spread “club music” techno, house, disco, aswell as balearic, cosmic, or krautrock. His mix for Tim Sweeney‘s “Beats in Space” but above all his thematical trilogy mix serie “East side of cosmics” gave him a very special status among the aesthetical freaks looking for high quality eclectic discoveries.
