Basé à Rotterdam, le Hollandais Mark Du Mosch commença à mixer en 1990 et à produire en 1995. Collectionneur de disque et artiste complet, il réalise aussi des fresques murales depuis son adolescence, il a gagné le plus haut respect dans la scène electronique alternative hollandaise ces dernières années. Ses influences musicales sont une composante indissociable de ses productions qu’il s’agisse de sons vintage disco, italo, pop-funk 80’s, old house ou beats texturés plus modernes techno, acid ou electro. Sa carrière décolle en 2006 quand il sort son premier maxi sur Keynote, le morceau “Let it go” propulsé directement dans le top 100 de la webradio CBS (maintenant Intergalactic FM) du gourou hollandais I-F lui confèrant alors un certain statut. Suivent une douzaine de maxi et deux albums tant sur des labels nationaux tels que Moustache, SD Records, Field, Tape Records Amsterdam, Dekmantel, Bordello A Parigi (sous le pseudo Marco Moschino aux cotés de Marli Blu) que sur des labels britanniques ou irlandais comme Lunar Disko, Cyber Dance or Tabernacle. Gagnant de plus en plus de crédit au fil de ses dj-sets et productions il joue maintenant dans l’europe entière et sa prestation en mars dernier au Boiler Room d’Amsterdam à l’occasion de l’anniversaire du label Dekmantel, référence en techno moderne de qualité mais aussi et surtout énorme festival qui a lieu tout les ans au mois d’aout, en est la preuve éclatante. Aux cotés de De Dupe, boss du label Bordello et du mythique vétéran Rude 66 adulé notamment pour ses sorties sur Bunker, Creme Organization ou encore Djax Up, Mark nous fera l’honneur d’etre notre invité ce mercredi au Batofar pour la Rendez-Vous a Parigi soirée spéciale anniversaire du label Bordello A Parigi, on a hate ! Rotterdam based Mark Du Mosch started to dj in early 90’s and produce music in 1995. Both an art lover, he’s painting murals since his teenage, and a record collector, he has earned the highest amount of respect in the dutch alternative music scene in the past couple of years. The diverse influences of Du Mosch sound are a trademark of his productions, you can hear everything between vintage disco, italo, 80’s pop-funk & more modern techno, house, acid & electro textured beats. His musical career only takes off in 2006 when he makes his first release on Keynote, the track “Let it go” becoming an instant classic for the connoisseurs, making it in the top 100 from unfamous I-F‘s online webradio CBS (now called Intergalactic FM). Followed a dozen of ep’s & two albums on domestic labels such as Moustache, SD Records, Field, Tape Records Amsterdam, Dekmantel, Bordello A Parigi (under the Marco Moschino moniker alongside Marli Blu) as well as on different UK & irish imprints like Lunar Disko, Cyber Dance or Tabernacle. Gaining more & more recognition he’s playing now everywhere in europe and made recently his first Boiler Room appearance for the Amsterdam Dekmantel night, Dekmantel being a label but above all a huge festival taking place every year in August. Alongside De Dupe, Bordello‘s head-honcho & most revered veteran Rude 66 from Bunker, Djax-Up & Creme Organization fame, Mark will be our guest at the Batofar this friday for the Rendez-Vous a Parigi a special labelnight dedicated to Bordello A Parigi, we’re looking forward pretty much!
