Collectionneur de vinyl depuis de longues années, Bas Warnars aka Baz Reznik est un dj et producteur hollandais. En 2008 Baz commence à produire sa propre musique et monte son label DYFR Records (Do It Yourself and Fuck the Rest) et sort alors son premier disque Out Of Your Head EP. En 2010 Raoul & Jan (Syncom Data) du label SD Records lui font signer chez eux le Dirt From The Mind EP. Grace à ses différentes sorties et à son talent doublé d’une impeccable sélection derrière les platines, il commence à se faire un nom et enchaine de plus en plus de bookings aux cotés d’artistes et djs locaux ou internationaux tels qu’Andrew Weatherall, Levon Vincent, Ceephax Acid Crew, Andreas Gehm, Bangkok Impact, Sneak Thief, Legowelt, I-F, TLR, Rude 66, Orgue Electronique ou encore Serge de Clone. Après un long interlude de plus d’un an durant lequel il entreprit un long périple touristique autour du monde et mis alors DYFR en suspens, il est de retour pour sortir dans les semaines qui viennent le sixième opus du label, trois morceaux qui fleurent bon l’acid et la techno underground. Ce mix exclusif pour LYO est un parfait condensé de ses goûts pour l’indus, la wave, l’acid, la house ou la techno dans une pure vaine Jakbeat !
Vinyl collector for years Bas Warnars aka Baz Reznik is a Dutch dj and producer. Thanks to those releases and solid skills and selection behind the decks he gains the opportunity to perform alongside great international and local artist such as Andrew Weatherall, Levon Vincent, Ceephax Acid Crew, Andreas Gehm, Bangkok Impact, Sneak Thief, Legowelt, I-F, TLR, Rude 66, Orgue Electronique or Serge from Clone. After a one-year-long world trip and break off any music activites, he’s about to release DYFR-006, a 3 tracker from melodic acid to harsh underground techno. This exclusive mix for LYO is a nice mixture of industrial, wave, acid and techno in the vein of freaky jakbeat scene.
