Skatebård, real name Bård Aasen Lødemel, is a producer and DJ from Norway who rose to prominence in the early noughties. His catalogue “oscillates between emotional techno, neo-italo, electro from an alternative future and a Scando-cosmic reinterpretation of pure Detroitian house”. In 2006 he founded Digitalo Enterprises, an imprint that he has exclusively been using to put his own material out. However the Norwegian producer has also released music on various labels such as Sex Tags Mania, Supersoul Recordings, Bordello A Parigi, KM Editions and Annie‘s own imprint Totally. As a DJ, Skatebård is a globetrotter, with upcoming tour dates taking him as far as Russia and Vietnam. On the release front, his latest offering just came out through Ali Renault‘s Vivod and his next EP will be released via Bordello A Parigi in November.
